Perrin Grace currently lives in Manhattan, New York and has performed in 12 of the United States as well as The Netherlands, Japan, Canada, Germany and South Korea.  He has performed with great jazz musicians like John Riley, Amina Figarova, Alex Sipiagin and Marc Mommas. In May of 2016 he received his masters degree from the Manhattan School of Music studying with Jay Anderson and In 2013 he received his bachelors degree in Jazz Studies at the University of North Texas where he studied with Lynn Seaton, was a member of the 2 O'Clock Lab Band, and performed often including a trio concert with Jean-Michel Pilc and with countless creative and commercial projects.






Perrin co-leads AMP Trio along with Addison Frei and Matt Young. AMP trio released their debut album "Flow" and toured the U.S. and Canada in 2013, performing at Shapeshifter Lab in Brooklyn, NY and the Jacksonville Jazz Festival in Florida. They performed a series of concerts in Texas with Alto Saxophonist Tim Green, Trumpeter John Raymond and Tenor Saxophonist Quamon Fowler. They recorded as the rhythm section on Spenser Liszt's "Until Further Notice”, Aaron Hedenstrom's "A Moment of Clarity” and Drew Zaremba’s “Two Sides of the Same Coin”. On Nov. 6, 2015 AMP Trio released their second album "my(our) world" along with a series of videos directed by Andy LaViolette at Mr Magic Carpet Ride Productions. AMP Trio’s last release was be aired on the radio in the U.K., Greece, Canada and across the U.S. AMP Trio has toured every year since 2013. AMP Trio is preparing for its newest album “Three” as well as release tours to TX, ON, MI, FL, NY, MD, CT, NYC, and LA.
Perrin was born and raised in Ann Arbor, Michigan and is a dual citizen of the United States and Canada. His family currently lives in Southampton, Ontario. Perrin was a member of the 2014 Betty Carter Jazz Ahead Residency program directed by Jason Moran, the 2014 Steans Institute at Ravinia Residency with Rufus Reid.  He was in the 2015 Boysie Lowery Living Jazz Residency and traveled to Amsterdam for the 2015 Keep an Eye Jazz Residency.  He was at the 2016 Banff Jazz Workshop directed by Vijay Iyer.
